  • . What have I accomplished?
  • . How well am I liked?
  • What do I own?
  • us.
  • Jesus was going through the city of Jericho and there was a man there named Zacchaeus who was the chief tax collector and he was wealthy. He wanted to see who Jesus was but he was too short to see above the crowd. So he ran ahead to a place where Jesus would come and he climbed up a sycamore tree so he could see him. Luke 19:1-10

    Three Fundamental Truths:
  • .

When Jesus got to the tree, he looked up... Luke 19:5

God knows exactly where you are today.
  • .

God not only knows where you are, He knows who you are. He cares about you personally.

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

    You are God’s masterpiece.

I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. Isaiah 49:16

Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. Psalm 27:10
  • God not only knows where you are, and not only knows who you are, but He accepts you as you are!

He said [to Zacchaeus], “Come down quickly, for I'm going to be a guest in your home today.”

All the people saw this and they began to complain, “Jesus is staying with a sinner.”

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

So he came down at once and he received Him with joy.

Zacchaeus stood and he said to the Lord “I’ll give half of my possessions to the poor and if I’ve cheated anyone I’ll give them back four times the amount.” Jesus responded, “Salvation has come to this home today.” Luke 19:8-9
