five6 (5th – 6th grades)
At Compass, we understand preteens have special needs. They sometimes feel out of place in traditional children’s ministry, but also too young to fully engage in the youth ministry. This is exactly why we created five6, a ministry specifically designed for 5th and 6th graders.
What is five6?
five6 is a place for your preteen to connect and learn about the Bible every Sunday in an environment they can call their own. We understand how crucial this age is in moving towards making faith personal while considering the deeper realities of becoming a follower of Jesus. five6 will challenge your children to think through faith, while learning about the truths of the Bible.
We also hope five6 will be a great place for kids to connect and build new friendships with other kids each weekend. If you are new to town and looking for a way for your kids to meet other kids, five6 could be a great way to help your child connect.
