High School (9th – 12th Grade)
The Bible describes the church as a body with many parts all connected and working together for one purpose. And we logically understand that when all the parts are doing what they were designed to do, the body is an amazing machine.
The high school ministry at Compass understands that every student is different. Some students have been attending church since they were babies while others are learning about Jesus for the first time. We’ve developed an exciting ministry that will engage and challenge students to grow in their faith, regardless of their background.
We hope every high school student will discover God’s purpose for their life as they figure out what it means to become a follower of Jesus. The high school ministry at Compass develops and deepens student faith through Life Groups, service projects, summer camp, and special events.
Life Groups are small groups of students meeting to connect while discussing the Bible together. Life Groups meet Thursdays from 6:30-8 p.m. at The Bridge and are one of the best ways for students to get to know other high school students. Life Groups offer a fun and safe environment for students to explore faith and following Jesus together.
We believe service is one of the best ways a person can learn about God’s love for others. Therefore, our junior high ministry will find opportunities to serve throughout the year and during the summer.
Each year we attend a UCYC summer camp in Prescott, and would love for your student to join. Summer camp is an opportunity for students to get away from the challenges of normal life and have some fun. Students will also have an opportunity to deepen their relationship with Jesus or even make a decision to follow Him for the first time. Summer camp continues to be a powerful experience for students every year.
Compass offers multiple other amazing events throughout the year through the Bridge Student Center. From sports competitions to concerts, your student will all kinds of opportunities to have fun while developing new friendships through the Bridge Student Center.
