Guest Experience is filled with Changemakers who want to make you feel welcome. This is our “Street to Seat” team parking cars, greeting at the doors, and ushering in the auditorium. We take pride in making your experience at Compass as warm and enjoyable as possible. We hope to guide you through the day and answer any questions you might have along the way.
We are looking for talented musicians and songwriters to join a dynamic team of leaders to lead our congregation in worship every weekend, not only in the main worship center but also in YTH, PreTeen, CareNight, YoungAdults, Celebrate Recover, and our Casa Grande campus. Leading congregational worship plays a critical role in our church. Our worship leader guides the congregation, working closely with the pastor and other leaders to communicate messages of hope and encouragement. You will learn more about yourself as a musician, create positive relationships with other musicians, and prepare for each week’s service by practicing your parts on your own or with your team members. Leading worship can be challenging at first—but we have an incredible team of gifted artists here to help you learn these skills and experience God’s presence as you get there.
Our production team is composed of talented and expert individuals who work with our ministry teams to ensure the technical aspects of Compass events go off without a hitch. From camera operators and lighting technicians to audio engineers and video directors, technical positions are necessary for any production. As we grow, so will our team, ensuring we can provide the most dynamic experience possible at each venue.
Our environment team works throughout the year to ensure that our brand touchpoints are consistent and aligned. From consulting with our guest experience team to working with designers, architects, and other partners to ensure those spaces are inviting, comfortable, and reflect the values of Compass Christian Church, our environment team has a diverse range of work.
Our Early Childhood team is proud to offer programs for children from 8 weeks old through kindergarten. We are continually inspired when our youngest learners take their first steps and when our oldest ones are ready to read a book on their own. There’s a lot of jumping, singing, dancing, learning, and laughter in every experience at Compass Kids. We’re proud to support your child’s development and partner with parents as they take those first spiritual steps.
Elementary school is a pivotal time for the faith formation of children. This is when they learn that they are made in the image of God to love God with all their heart, soul, and strength and to trust Jesus for a better future. We hope to help kids grow in love and understanding of God in consistent partnership with their parents and caregivers.
We know that the preteen years are an exciting time—but they can also be confusing and challenging for kids. Our goal is to create an environment where every preteen knows they matter, belong, and are loved unconditionally by God. We also want them to see themselves as part of a larger community. That’s why we have an incredible team of Changemakers and staff. They work daily to ensure that every preteen feels like they belong in our church family.
Junior High is a time of significant change and growth. Kids are making new friends and trying to figure out who they are. At Compass, we want to be there for the students as they go through this time of transition. It’s essential to build opportunities to connect with each other and grow in their relationship with God. We also offer many options for our students to have fun, invite friends, and get involved in mission work and community service, which helps them grow closer to God and others in the community.
High school can be a formative time in your life. That’s why we believe it’s essential to challenge students where they are at and equip them with a greater understanding of who God is, what He has done, and how they should respond to His goodness. Our goal is to provide experiences that help students develop stronger social relationships and be more confident in their unique callings as they discover their personal mission.
Our Young Adult ministry is for people who have graduated High School but are in that transition before going full out on their own. This ministry provides a safe place for spiritual growth and helps young adults find their way into the next phase of their life in an authentic community with others.
We offer programs for children and teens with special needs that allow them to participate in a fun and safe environment with the rest of their church family. We know it’s hard for parents or caregivers to leave their children with other adults, so we believe in affirmation and encouragement for whatever struggles those children face. We also offer resources and support for parents and caregivers so they can go to church without worrying about the child or teen. At Compass, we want the whole family to feel welcome here.

It can be hard to know where to turn for help when going through a difficult time in life. This is why the Care Team exists; it supports those in need. The care team serves as a resource for those with spiritual and financial needs and to assist when life feels too difficult. By giving those in need a place to turn and providing them with resources, the Care Team can help people get through their struggles so that they can get back on their feet again.
When you think about addiction and recovery, you probably don’t think of your neighborhood church. That’s what makes Celebrate Recovery such a powerful option for those seeking healing. The support system within this program is one of its greatest strengths. The small groups are great for personal attention and connection between members, which helps make it easier to face some of the harsh truths that will come up while working through the hurts, habits, and hangups we all have.
Compass Groups provide a safe, meaningful way to go through life and grow in your relationship with Jesus alongside other like-minded people. In addition to simply getting to know one another better, groups provide an opportunity for us to grow in our relationship with Jesus. These groups are small communities where we can share our struggles and talk about what’s going on in our lives—we can ask questions about how the Bible applies to our everyday lives and learn from each other as we face similar challenges. The group leaders will pray with you when you’re struggling, celebrate successes with you, and help you understand more deeply what God is saying through scripture.
There are many ways to fulfill the mission of Jesus, but we have to have leaders who are equipped to serve others. Jesus is about blessing others; we cannot do this without growing leaders. According to John 15:16-17 (NIV), Jesus said, “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit–fruit that will last–and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.” We can’t love each other unless we know how to love each other. We cannot do this on our own. We need growing leaders who are equipped to serve others. As a leader, what can you do to help someone succeed?
Jesus taught that our lives have more meaning when we’re helping others. This truth is so important within the church, locally in our communities, throughout Arizona, and worldwide. Commitment to one another in our faith community is essential, but so is the awareness that we can use our unique gifts and talents to help others. Serving in Missions is a primary way to develop that awareness.
If you’re just starting your faith journey, the Next Steps team wants to help you learn more about the beliefs of Compass Christian Church and how you find your community here. No matter where you are in your faith journeys, NextSteps is here to empower you.

We are Information Technology. We work with hardware and software to maintain and troubleshoot the network across buildings and campuses. We also lead initiatives that improve the overall IT experience for our employees and guests on campus every week.
Compass’ Spanish language services are an excellent resource for our congregation because they allow us to welcome a broader range of people into our community, regardless of their English fluency. Spanish is the second most commonly spoken language in the United States, with over 40 million people identifying as Spanish-speaking. Our Spanish-language services allow us to reach out to a population that is growing in size and in need of support.
Join the Legacy ministry as a Changemaker, where you’ll have the opportunity to work with other ministries, make a difference in the community, and shape the next generation. Don’t let your age hold you back from making a meaningful impact.
The Communications team creates and manages a lot of things here at Compass. We provide print and screen resources, promotional plans, and logistical support for all of our ministries, ensuring everyone speaks the same language and keeps up to date. But we don’t just help out with promotions. We also create and manage all brands, websites, photography, and video content. Writing is also a big part of what we do, including email blasts, copy on the website, and written descriptions of all our upcoming events across the internet and physical spaces. We’re here to help people who help people.
You might easily miss this team—hidden behind a tent or golf cart and busy working out of the way. Yet, they help make our campus run smoothly. Campus Support is here to assist the day-to-day operations of Compass, including maintaining buildings and landscaping and proactively addressing issues around campus.
The Finance Department has a lot of moving parts. From managing the church budget to paying our vendors, we play a significant role in the day-to-day operations of Compass. Every week we process an enormous workload of paperwork and transactions. People with an accounting or business background and anyone who enjoys helping others are welcome to serve on this team.
