Dear Church Family,
I want to start by saying how thankful I am for your flexibility during this time of seemingly constant change. In my message two weeks ago, I said the word of the year is “pivot.” Well, it’s time once again to adjust our plans for gathering together.
Yesterday, Governor Ducey and the Arizona Department of Health urged renewed caution in light of the number of coronavirus cases trending upward.
With that in mind, for the next two weeks and possibly longer, there will be no gatherings on campus, and we will continue with Church at Home. This applies to both large and small group gatherings.
Our church leadership team feels good about the decisions we’ve made each step of the way during this truly uncharted journey because we’ve been prayerful, we’ve sought the wise counsel of our elders and others, and we’ve dealt with the facts in front of us.
I want to reiterate that although we won’t be meeting on campus, that doesn’t mean ministry stops. In fact, it’s at times like this that we see the Church at its best. I’m always so encouraged when I see you finding new and creative ways to live out the words, “Love God, Love People, and Share Jesus.”
We will continue to stay in touch with you by email, on social media and via our website as the situation changes. Thank you again for embracing this with grace and understanding.
In Christ’s Love,
Pastor Brian and the Church Leadership Team
