Compass Students exists to introduce 7-12th grade students to Jesus and his life-changing love. We want this generation to become fearless followers of Jesus and to possess a radical love for others.
Weekends at Compass are about creating an environment where students can encounter the love of Jesus through powerful worship, impactful teaching, fun games, and more; where God’s Word is relatable and relevant!
We are committed to impacting the lives of students and we would like for you to join us in serving. There are many volunteer roles in Student Ministries and we would love to have you be a part.
5th & 6th grades
A place for your preteen to connect with other students and experience community in an environment they can call their own. Relevant teaching and strong relationships will support your child as they grow in Christ and transition from children’s ministry to student ministries. five6 currently meets on Wednesdays in C100 at 6:30 p.m.
7th – 8th grade
Jr. Highers are unique so we embrace that uniqueness and help to make the journey easier. Students receive the added support they need and learn about identity, relationships, and how to keep Jesus at the center of their lives. Weekly Life Groups, weekend service, service projects, summer camp, and special events, together offer the opportunity to make new friends, grow in their faith, and have fun.
9th – 12th grade
Everyone starts from different places. The High School Ministry allows students from all backgrounds to grow and be challenged in their faith. We talk about their big questions: What’s my purpose? What is truth? How do I live out my faith in Jesus in the real world? We do this through Life Groups, service projects, weekend service, CIY Summer Camp, and special events by offering high-energy experiences blended with the hope of Jesus.
Life Groups are where students connect with God, their peers, and adult leaders. Students dig deeper into God’s word, learning more about Jesus and how to build life-long relationships. Student life groups currently meet on Wednesday at The Bridge at 6:30 p.m.
