We are excited to announce a new year-long Bible reading initiative that we will be embarking on together starting on January 1st. We are calling this initiative “Journey Through the Bible,” and we invite all members of our community to join us on this exciting adventure.

The Bible reading plan that we will be using is called “One Story that Leads to Jesus,” and it has been created by The Bible Project. This plan is designed to take us through the entire Bible in one year, starting with Genesis and ending with Revelation, and to help us see how all the stories and themes in the Bible ultimately point us towards Jesus and his redemptive work.

Each day, we will be reading a set number of chapters from different books of the Bible as part of “One Story that Leads to Jesus.” There are also some additional readings from the Psalms to provide a daily devotional element to the plan.

We understand that reading the Bible can be intimidating, especially if you are new to it or have not read it in a while. But we encourage you not to let fear or uncertainty hold you back from joining us on this journey. There are many resources available to help you understand and engage with the Bible, including study guides, commentaries, and online resources. We will also have pastors and other leaders available to answer any questions you may have and provide guidance as you read.

We believe that this “Journey Through the Bible” will be a meaningful and enriching experience for all who participate. It is a chance for us to deepen our understanding of God’s word, grow in our faith, and come together as a community. We hope you will join us on this journey and be a part of something special.
