Plan Your Visit
If are considering attending Compass Christian Church for the first time, we thought it would be helpful to give you an idea of what to expect. If you are someone who feels far from God, we want to let you know we have created every part of our service with you in mind. If fact, whether you’re attending for the first time in a long time, or have been attending church your whole life, you’ll love our Sunday services.
Your First Time
As you attend for the first time, you’ll find a caring, comfortable environment where you and your family can explore and grow in your faith. Service Times and Locations
Parking and Entering the Building
When you enter the church parking lot, feel free to park anywhere you’d like. Someone from our Parking Team will be available show you where to park. Then you will see our red Guest Central tents outside and in the lobby to help answer any questions you might have.
Once you enter through the lobby doors, you will see signs directing you to the children’s ministry and the auditorium. If you have any questions, feel free to stop by the areas marked, “Guest Central.”
Where Do My Kids Go?
As you enter the building, you’ll notice multiple signs directing you towards our children’s ministry (Compass Kids). You will find a desk where you can register the first time you attend. Registering your children is a way to ensure child safety and gives us a way to contact you during the service if you are needed. If you’re planning on attending this Sunday, feel free to go ahead and pre-register your children. (“pre-register” can link to the place on the Children’s Ministry page where parents can pre-register their children)
Our children’s ministry has age-appropriate environments as follows:
- Newborns – 3 year-olds
- 4 year-olds – Kindergarten
- 1st – 4th grade
- 5th & 6th grade

What Should I Expect During a Sunday Service?
After the time for singing, one of our leaders will take a few minutes to greet everyone and share what’s going on in the church.
One of our pastors will then share an engaging lesson from the Bible. The pastor will simply explain everything and will help you take a verse or story from the Bible and make a meaningful connection to your life.
At the end of service, we will take communion. Communion is an opportunity to respond to God and reflect on what you learned that day.
There will be an opportunity to give to the church financially every Sunday. The offering is a time for those who consider Compass Christian Church their church home to respond to God through giving. As our guest, you are not expected to give.
After the service we’d like to invite you to stop by the area just outside the service called the Living Room where you can learn more about the church and find ways to get connected at Compass.
