You Don’t Have to Be a Prisoner of Your Wounded Heart.
Whether it was moments ago or years back, whatever happened left a mark on your life. But it’s often not the situation we can’t forgive; it’s the person who hurt us. And unless we find true forgiveness, we can never know the story of healing beyond the hurt.
But we have good news: there’s more to your story.
In this groundbreaking, story-driven course, follow Jesus’ words and examples and find the freedom and peace your heart desires.
Has an unexpected loss left you devastated and unsure of your future? You attended Grief Share to help you cope. Now, you ask what’s next? How do I move forward and rebuild my life after difficult loss? How will God guide me? This 10-week curriculum-based, repeatable support group called HOPE BEYOND LOSS is designed to provide encouragement and practical tools for rebuilding your life based on Scriptural principles. The course includes guidance and discipleship in God’s Word in the hopes that followers of Jesus will be continuously healed and guided by His Word.
Psalm 107:20
Geared Toward God” is a brotherhood of Christian men committed to spiritual growth, authentic discipleship, and living with purpose in every sphere of life.
A Grief Share support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotional components of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way. Grief Share registrants become automatic alumni and may attend future versions and individual classes of Grief Share free of charge to attend class.
A Special Note…
Workbooks and program materials for this class are provided free of charge in loving memory of Lynda Riecks through a generous donation from the Riecks family. We thank you for helping others work through their grief and not be hindered by financial need.

Hope Forward is a Christian support group for those whose lives have been touched by cancer. When someone is diagnosed, it does not just affect one person. It has a ripple effect through everyone in their lives. Our mission for this group is to find hope and peace amid a cancer diagnosis and the ensuing treatment journey by studying God’s Word and supporting each other through the peaks and valleys along the way. We hope that through this group, we can turn a challenging health situation into dedicated, loving, Christ-centered community each week.
One of the most isolating experiences in a woman’s life experience is dealing with infertility of all kinds. The causes are many, but the feelings lead to increasing discouragement, uncertainty and often unknown next steps. Additionally, there are women who are able to get pregnant, but struggle to stay pregnant, resulting in miscarriages that create a blend of excitement and grief in a short period of time. Our Fertility Support Group will help women find a place to express their feelings, mutually care for each other and get Biblical encouragement for strengthening their faith while learning they are not alone. This group meets on the 2nd Monday of the month during Care Night.
Parenting a child with special needs comes with unique joys and challenges, and you don’t have to walk this road alone. Our new Special Needs Moms group at Compass Christian Church is a safe and welcoming place to connect with other moms who truly understand. We’ll meet twice a month to study God’s Word, pray for one another, and share our stories—encouraging each other through every step of the journey. Whether you’re seeking spiritual growth, friendship, or a community that “gets it,” this group is here to offer support and hope. Join us as we lean on each other, grow in faith, and find strength in knowing we’re not alone. This group meets on the second and fourth Monday of every month.
If you have a heart for people, we have a number of ways where you can serve and use your gifts in the various Care Ministries- Marriage, Celebrate Recovery and Support Groups.
