The high school ministry at Compass understands that every student is different. Some students have been attending church since they were babies while others are learning about Jesus for the first time. We’ve developed an exciting ministry that will engage and challenge students to grow in their faith, regardless of their background.
We hope every high school student will discover God’s purpose for their life as they figure out what it means to become a follower of Jesus. The high school ministry at Compass develops and deepens student faith through Life Groups, service projects, summer camp, and special events.
Life Groups are small groups of students meeting to connect while discussing the Bible together. Life Groups meet Wednesday from 6:30-8:15 p.m. at The Bridge and are one of the best ways for students to get to know other high school students. Life Groups offer a fun and safe environment for students to explore faith and following Jesus together.
We believe service is one of the best ways a person can learn about God’s love for others. Therefore, our junior high ministry will find opportunities to serve throughout the year and during the summer.
Each year our students attend a summer camp in and we would love for your student to join. Summer camp is an opportunity for students to get away from the challenges of normal life and have some fun. Students will also have an opportunity to deepen their relationship with Jesus or even make a decision to follow Him for the first time. Summer camp continues to be a powerful experience for students every year.
From sports competitions to worship events and everything in-between, your student will be sure to find a way to engage with their peers in ways that are fun, safe and fulfilling.
