Casa Grande Campus | Thursday @ 7:00pm
Celebrate Recovery, or CR, is a Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone struggling with a hurt, habit or hang up of any kind. Although participants in CR can have addictions of various kinds, the program also includes support for a wide variety of life issues including co-dependency, sexual purity, family dysfunction, emotional hurts, mental health challenges and more! CR is a safe place to find freedom from the issues that are controlling your life.
We will Celebrate 21 years of amazing life change this year. Casa Grande Campus celebrates over 10 years.
Casa Grande
Main meetings consist of four elements:
Optional Dinner – 6:00pm
Fellowship is an important part of Celebrate Recovery and we offer a dinner at the beginning of the night for a suggested $5 donation. Dinner menu is posted on our facebook page: Compass CR every Monday.
Large Group – 7:00pm
This is where everyone meets together to hear either a recovery-centered Teaching or a personal Testimony of a changed life. We consider this a “shoulder to shoulder” experience.
Open Share – 8:00pm
This is the time we break into separate gender and issue-specific groups where each person is safe to share their struggles and victories with others who share their similar hurts, hang-ups, and habits. We consider this a “face to face” experience.
Crosstalk Cafe – 9:00pm
Crosstalk Cafe is a time for dessert, community engagement and camaraderie.
Childcare is provided free of charge for children 8 weeks – 1st grade.
Checkin begins at 6:45pm.
This night doesn’t work for you? There are 49 other meetings happening across the valley:
Celebration Place is geared to address the struggles of our elementary students grades 2- 6. These students learn to handle their big feelings and hurts in appropriate healthy ways. The lessons taught are the same as the adult Celebrate recovery each week with age appropriate activities, games and music. Our Celebration Place leaders are caring, understanding of the day to day struggles of our youngest students
It has been said that “you go to a meeting to feel better, but you work the steps to get better”. Step Studies are a safe place to work through the Jesus-centered 12 Steps in a gender-specific group. These groups meet for 6 to 12 months and meet on different nights of the week. It’s a place where the “why” behind addictions and behavior can finally be uncovered and we can get some freedom from them. We consider this a “heart to heart” experience. We start step studies throughout the year, email cr@compassaz.church to be added to our waitlist.
