Compass Kids provides families with a fun, safe, and age-appropriate environment for kids in every phase:
If you plan on dropping your children off in Compass Kids the first time you attend, please arrive 30 minutes before the service to register. Registering your children helps to ensure child safety and gives us a way to contact you during the service if you are needed. Our team will be ready to greet you, check your kids in, and give you a tour of our Compass Kids area if you’d like one.
We’ve worked hard to create a weekly worship experience where everyone feels comfortable — from someone who’s exploring the idea of faith to the person who’s spent their entire life in church.
Services are usually around 1 hour 15 minutes long.
People at Compass typically dress casually on Sunday mornings. So, feel free to throw on shorts and a t-shirt and you’ll fit right in.
Our worship music is contemporary with a band that plays guitars, drums, and keyboards. Our worship and creative arts team will lead a time of singing with the words projected on the screens to make it easy to follow along. The music is typically lively combined with creative arts and moments for quiet reflection.
We encourage everyone to worship and participate however they feel comfortable during our services. While some may lift their hands or close their eyes during the music, you’re not required or expected to. We hope you’re able to relax and enjoy the service.
You’re welcome to bring a Bible, but you’re not expected to. Some of our members bring Bibles to the weekend services while others might use their BIble app on their phone. We also share verses from the message up on the screens.
You’ll never be asked to stand up or stand out in any way. We want to do everything possible to make attending Compass for the first time as comfortable as possible. So feel free to sit back, relax, and enjoy the service as our guest.
No. The offering is a time for our members and regular attendees to respond to God through giving. Our service is a gift to you. If you do consider Compass your church home, you can learn more about giving here.
After the service is over, you’re invited to stop by The Living Room just outside the Worship Center where you can learn more about Compass and find ways to get connected. We’d love to meet you and answer any questions you have.
