PAUL COVERT

Author and Corporate Chaplain

Paul has 45 years of experience in ministry. He has been involved in church planting, preaching, teaching, writing, vision casting, staff training, and development. Much of his career has specialized in prayer leadership.

Presently he is the Corporate Chaplain for a Christian company, at Aqua-Tots and leads Threshold Prayer Ministry full time. Paul travels and leads schools of prayer, conferences, and prayer events across the U.S. and Internationally. He consults in prayer leadership and prayer strategy in churches across the US and Canada.

He brings a very practical and logical approach to prayer ministry that you will find helpful and useful.

BRIAN JOBE

Senior Pastor of Compass Christian Church

Brian Jobe has served as the Senior Pastor at Compass Christian Church since 2016. He formerly served as the Senior Pastor at Harvester Christian Church in Saint Charles, MO for 6 years. Before that, he served at Compassion Christian Church in Savannah, GA for 11 years as a Regional Campus Pastor and member of the Teaching Team. Brian has preached at numerous conferences and Christian churches around the country and on mission fields all around the world. Brian has been married to Marie for 27 years. They have two daughters: Sydney (21) and Sophie (19). Brian loves to preach and gets fired up seeing people come to know Jesus in a life-changing way!

He enjoys time with his family, sports (especially golf), and music.

JULIA HERNANDEZ

Adult Ministries Pastor at Compass Christian Church

Julia is passionate about guiding individuals in leadership and spiritual growth. With decades of ministry experience, she holds degrees in Bible & Theology and Ministry Leadership, along with a secondary teaching degree. Julia has been married for 32 years and is a mother of two.

Her career spans church planting, pastoring, and leading and developing at a megachurch with over 12,000 members and leading ministries across all age groups. She is passionate about mentoring and leading the next generation in spiritual and ministry leadership.

Julia is dedicated to empowering leaders in ministry and fostering spiritual growth globally. She has a deep desire to support the Disciple Maker Movement, which is happening both globally and beyond the walls of the church. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, music, art, and creative writing.

ALLAN SWINSON

Prayer Pastor

Allan Swinson has served as a pastor at Compass Christian Church since 2018. He oversees the Prayer Ministry, the Alpha program, and leads a discipleship ministry called Rooted. He previously served as the Senior Pastor of First Christian Church of Coweta, OK for 9 years. Allan received a Batchelor’s Degree in Ministry and Leadership from Dallas Christian College in 2008, and he is wrapping up the final year of a master’s program at Emmanuel Christian Seminary in Johnson City, TN. Allan has been married to his best friend, Dena, for 24 years. Allan and Dena have two children, Kaylee and Cooper, and a two-year-old granddaughter named Norah. Allan is a self-proclaimed Bible nerd, and he loves music, movies, and spending time with family.
