At Compass Christian Church (formerly Chandler Christian Church) we believe growing people are becoming more like Jesus. Wherever you are in life, whatever is going on in life, you will always have a NEXT STEP to take to grow to be more like Jesus.

We are here to help everyone find their ever-deepening relationship with Jesus!

The greatest thing that could ever happen in your life is a relationship with Jesus. If you haven’t taken the steps to say Yes to Jesus watch this video.

At Compass Christian Church we believe that when you decide to trust Jesus as your Savior, you should be baptized by immersion.

Baptism is a symbol—and is a personal and public act of identifying with Jesus and your desire to obey Him. When you go under the water in baptism, it’s a symbol of dying to the old way of life, and coming up out of the water to a new life—a life led by Jesus. You are now a new person in Jesus Christ.

Discover Compass

Discover Compass is an introduction to Compass Christian Church where you’ll learn about our beliefs, our purpose, and our structure. You’ll discover the three things that connect us as a family—God, people, and change. After class, you’ll have the opportunity to decide whether you want to make Compass your church family. If you decide Compass in not where God is leading you, that’s OK!

Next Class

Day 1 isn’t a class, it’s a relationship with another believer where you learn what it means to grow to be more like Jesus. The lessons you study together will strengthen your faith no matter where you are in your spiritual journey. You meet 1-on-1 with your discipleship partner, which means you can pick the day and the time to get together!

We serve God by serving others. The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, and position. In our self-serving “me first” culture, acting like a servant is not a popular trend. Jesus, however, measured greatness in terms of service, not status—how many people you serve, not how many people serve you.

Jesus taught that our lives have more meaning when we’re helping others. This truth is so important: If you aren’t serving, you’re just existing. Life is full when you serve God and others. God wants you to learn to love and serve others unselfishly.
