So much happened today! Moses disqualified himself from entering the promised land and Aaron and Miriam died!
God held Moses to a higher standard because he was the leader of the people and had a special relationship with God, but it seems harsh that Moses would do something so small and lose his opportunity to see the land he has lead the people to. He put up with so much from them and handled that well.
I’m glad that God is smarter and a better judge than I am which makes it so much easier to trust His actions.
