One Response
There was so much good context in the video about our future readings, and I will try and recall them as we read furthers.
The parting of the Jordan feels like God was creating a “full circle moment” for the Israelites. He lead them out of captivity by separating the waters of the Red Sea, and was now leading them into the land He had promised them decades before by parting the waters of the Jordan. Even though they were two different generations, the common thread is that neither one of these instances would have been possible without the power and provision of God.
