We serve God by serving others

The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, and position. In our self-serving “me first” culture, acting like a servant is not popular. Jesus, however, measured greatness in terms of service, not status—how many people you serve, not how many people serve you. Jesus taught that our lives have more meaning when we’re helping others. This truth is so important within the church, locally in our communities, throughout Arizona, and around the world.

Local Missions

As a church, we want to show God’s love to our local community in every way possible. We have partnerships with a wide variety of ministries and organizations throughout metro Phoenix and Casa Grande.

SECOND SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH | Join with others from the Compass family as we go out into our communities and serve with our local missions partners. The type of work and locations vary each month. Meet at Compass, hear about the six to eight different projects for the day, choose the one you want to be a part of, then head out to the work locations for a memorable day serving with friends and family.

OCTOBER 23, 2021 | Join with hundreds of othersfrom Compass as we work to make a huge impact on the community through Love Our City Day on Saturday, October 23. Adults and kids alike have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of easy, hands-on projects at locations including schools, parks, neighborhoods and more. Our goal is to provide at least 1,000 volunteers, so spread the word and sign yourself, your family, or your group up today!
